Striped candy is one of the special candies in Candy Crush Jelly Saga. They are regular candies with horizontal or vertical white stripes on them. Depending the direction of the stripes, they clear the whole row or column they are in when matched.
A striped candy is created when 4 candies (including special candies) of the same color form ether a horizontal or vertical straight line. If 4 candies are matched in a row, a vertically striped candy is created. If 4 candies are matched in a column, a horizontally striped candy is created. When formed, 120 points are given to the player.
Another way of looking at it is that the striped candy will have stripes in the direction it was moved to make the 4 in a row.
When you make a normal match with striped candy or combine color bomb with the same color of stripeds, they clear the whole column or row (depending on the direction of stripeds). Detonating a striped candy gives 60 points per candy.
When you create striped candies in the even cascades, it doesn't like Candy Crush Saga. For example, 4 candies in a row will create a vertical striped candy, but in the second cascade, 4 candies in a column will create a horizontal striped candy, not a vertical striped one. In other words, 4 candies in any row or column will still keep exactly the direction of that candy which the played was guided above.
